On week 18 we learnt about different shot types for example we had close ups, extreme closeups, long shot, POV shot, over the shoulder shot, cowboy shot, and full shot and there is a lot more  film shots you can have but we had a go at doing shots so we got 2 cameras and we got in our groups and we had a go at practising some of the shots we have had a look at and we had a go and then Kane came to check if they were right then he gave us another shot and we had to create the scene.  Some production roles there are loads of stuff to do with film and tv there are casting director, director, editor, locations manager, camera trainee, and costume trainer. For our rehearsals we practiced our lines and tried to keep remembering them so when we get to the filming we dont need to use our scripts we can just remember of the top of our head the results and I remembered my lines after a couple of tries but I got there in the end.

level 2 performing arts week 17

What we did for week 17 is we were finding some scripts for our film so we could later on in the year can start filming our film which our groups will decide what scripts we will use. we looked at self tapes with Kane and Abbigail on Tuesday and self tapes are an audition video that an actor records and films themselves so they can send them to work places tutors teacher and a lot of other people who would need to see your self tape. For the self tape an actor would perform a scene or a monologue. A monologue is a long speech of text spoken by one character from a play or a film.  So what we did for finding scripts in groups are Tom and Abbi put us into groups so I was in a group with Jay and Alfie and me and we went online and we went to find one script we all agreed on to do for our film and we chose Halloween which is a horror movie. we picked this script because we all found it like a scripts we could all memorise.
