Level 2 performing arts week 11

Tuesday 21st November 2023

 On Tuesday we did some improv games which is where we are given a line or a scene and have to come up with the rest of it and to do vocal warm ups with our voices so we are able to use voices when we do our lines. Then what we did after that is we did play rehearsals which is where we did the play the girl without hands we added some more stuff on to what we did last time and then we did some more Beatles Rehearsals for our show tomorrow Wednesday 22nd November 2023 which will take place at the Globe at 7 PM but have to be at globe for 6.30 PM and then after that we went home. 

What we learned for this day is learnt some more of the lines for "the Girl without hands" and trying a narrator for the show which I learnt how to do it.  

Wednesday 22nd November 2023

So this day is show day so what we did today was we started of with finishing (blocking) the play which we managed to finish/block the play which was very good then we went over it again and then what we did was we went to have lunch and then went to English in the afternoon and then went to have a good time out of college then we went to the globe for 6.30 then we got into the Globe found our seats and watched the first half of the show and then at the interval which is a break we went to the dressing room dropped our stuff of and then went to the stage and got ready for our show which we were first on the show after the break then after we sang we went of stage and got our stuff and then went to go watch the rest of the show and once it finished we went home. 

What we learned about today was about staging and where we should stand on stage and that some people who go on stage are sometimes stage fright but when I went on the stage I was a little bit scared so the girl next to me put he hand on mine so I wasn't scared and said its O hold my hand so u don't be scared cant remember what she said but she was the sweetest girl I have met in my life. 

Thursday 23rd November 2023

This day we did our resilience lesson and we finished of our Bertolt Brecht posters on Canva but I finished mine so  was helping others and finishing my blogs. 

Friday 24th November 2023

So what we did was we did some more rehearsals for "the girl without hands" and we found out when our how date id and time and where it is for our show for "the girl without hands" the show date is the 18th December 2023 and it is in college in the Theatre at 7pm 

What i learnt about this was that i learnt more staging and where we are going on stage and also learnt about how the lights work and the sound system works
